Meet our Principal, Tabasha Frederick, whose 24 years in education are matched only by her love of adventure — she collects passport stamps from her travels around the globe! A former baton twirler and flutist, Tabasha is excited to build strong relationships with students, staff, and families for what's shaping up to be a great year.

Cy-Anne Small, our Assistant Principal, keeps Spring Lake moving with energy to spare — between running, pickleball, chess, pottery, and the gym, she's always active! A dedicated reader who collects books, Cy-Anne is most excited this year for one thing: spending time with each and every Manatee.

Nikki Finetto brings ten years of experience and a love for all things green — from jewel-toned style to her beloved houseplants! A puzzle-lover and Disney fan who also enjoys running, Nikki's focus this year is keeping the positive vibes flowing at Spring Lake.

Sara Nielsen, our School Counselor, is a tap-dancing, dog-loving Solar Bears fan who brings warmth to every conversation! Between dance, sewing, and reading in her free time, Sara pours her heart into supporting students, and this year she's excited for more one-on-one time and small groups with them.

Tracy Schoenauer, our Behavior Interventionist, is a champion for student success both in and out of the classroom! A true foodie and travel lover, she's always chasing the next great restaurant or destination — and she happens to be an incredible host. With six years of experience, Tracy is laser-focused this year on one thing: helping every student thrive.

Kimberly Rosalia keeps our Clinic running with care and a whole lot of heart! An outdoor lover who's happiest anywhere near water with her kids, Kimberly collects hummingbird figurines and has a jaw-dropping hidden talent — she can still backflip into a pool! This year, she's most excited about making new friends around Spring Lake.

April Mendez is the friendly face you'll meet first at our Front Desk! A book-loving baker who enjoys long walks and a good cup of hibiscus tea, April collects stickers, books, and teas of all kinds. She's excited for all the fun themes this school year has in store — and who knows, her hidden talent might just reveal itself along the way!

Madeline Nieves is stepping into her very first role as Guidance Secretary, bringing a green thumb and a gift for organizing events! A gardener at heart who loves plants of all kinds, Madeline is excited to build strong, positive relationships and make a real difference in students' lives.

Meet Rosalinda Fair, our Reading Coach who's ready to turn every student into a confident, page-turning reader! When she's not building strong relationships with teachers and students, you'll find her doing yoga, casting a line while fishing, or soaking up a beach day. Fun fact: she can solve a Rubik's Cube! With five years of experience already under her belt, Rosalinda is excited to help Spring Lake keep that "A" shining bright.

Niki Czwornog brings a whopping 19 years of education experience to her role as Math/Science Instructional Coach! An avid reader who loves a good cruise, Niki is excited to build on last year's momentum, collaborating with new colleagues to bring fresh ideas to Spring Lake.

With 23 years of experience, Amy Quiroga is a dedicated Interventionist who loves a good Peloton ride and staying active in her church community! A cat lover with a taste for pumpkin spice everything, Amy is looking forward to getting to know the students and staff at Spring Lake even better.

Alexa Purkiss, our Math Interventionist, is a self-proclaimed trivia nerd ready to make numbers click for every student! A big Taylor Swift fan who loves Disney trips and traveling, she collects postcards and Christmas ornaments from her adventures. Alexa is excited to settle into a great routine this year.

Our Music Teacher Brittany Boardman is set to fill Spring Lake with sound and rhythm this year! When she's not leading a lesson, she's cross-stitching, collecting Pokémon cards, or heading out to her next concert. And yes — she gives a surprisingly excellent safari impression. Here's to more concerts and more music-filled memories!

With an incredible 38 years in education, Jeff Rood is a Spring Lake legend who brings humor and heart to every P.E. class! Between pickleball, fantasy football, and golf, Jeff also boasts an arsenal of quirky talents — including catching ten stacked quarters off his elbow without dropping a single one. He's most looking forward to everyone, students included, enjoying the school year journey together.

Welcome our brand-new Art Teacher, Gloribelle Hernandez, who's bringing creativity and color to Spring Lake! A lover of reading, travel, crafts, and fitness, Gloribelle collects teacher tee-shirts and loves sharing her talents with everyone around her. She's ready to make this an amazing year!

Deanna Rodriguez is diving into her second year as a Duty Assistant with a puzzle-solving mind and beachy style! A fan of escape rooms and all things tropical, Deanna collects books and has a hidden talent for cracking puzzles wide open. She's excited to spend this year getting to know everyone at Spring Lake.

Mayra brings an impressive 18 years of experience to our ESOL program, along with a love of outdoor adventures and a knack for pattern decoding! This year, her mission is clear: keep the school's "A" rating strong through structured, intentional teaching approaches.

Virginia Wijesekera brings incredible global experience to our ESOL program, having taught across two continents before joining Spring Lake! A lover of travel and reading, she collects postcards from around the world and prides herself on staying calm and positive under pressure. This year, Virginia is laser-focused on one goal: 100% growth for her ESOL and Tier 3 reading students.

Betsabe Vidal brings five years of passion to our ESOL program, with chocolate, roses, and a love of reading topping her list of favorites! Betsabe treasures memories above all else, and she's looking forward to carrying that same passion for teaching into another great year.

Carrie Kraft has been supporting students since "the 1900s" and brings unstoppable energy to ESE Support Facilitation! Whether she's at Zumba, weightlifting, or performing in musical theatre, Carrie always brings the fun — plus she has a serious weakness for a good dad joke. Her favorite part of the job? The kids, hands down!

Kathryn Rivera brings 19 years of experience and a beautiful voice to Spring Lake — she sings at her church! A pickleball enthusiast who's decided clutter-free living is the way to go, Kathryn is looking forward to a great, low-stress year ahead.

 

Olivia Ioannou joins Spring Lake with 16 years of teaching experience and an incredibly adventurous spirit — think hiking, paddleboarding, road trips, and live music! She speaks multiple languages, is handy with tools, and has a heart for rescuing stray animals. This year, Olivia can't wait to meet her students, watch them grow, and make lasting memories.

Lillian "Lilli" Purvis is a fiber-arts wizard who can make just about anything out of yarn! A proud "Hufflepuff" who loves reading and swimming, Lilli collects yarn, books, and stickers galore. Her goal this year is heartfelt and simple: build a true classroom family.

Melanie brings warmth and creativity to our PreK ESE classroom! A crocheting, sewing, and puzzle-loving crafter who collects funny coffee mugs, Melanie's mission this year is to create a space where every student can truly thrive.

Anna Wiggins, our Speech-Language Pathologist, is entering her third year in Seminole County and bringing plenty of creative flair with her! Between barre classes, embroidery, and watercoloring, Anna's hidden talent is a knack for rhyming on the spot. She's most excited about building closer relationships with the Spring Lake staff this year.

Sarah O'Farrell joins Spring Lake with 12 years of private school teaching experience and a can-do creative spirit — she can build almost anything in PowerPoint! A lover of reading, crafting, and all things Disney, Sarah is most excited to work alongside an amazing team this year.

Get ready for big energy in Kindergarten with Jourdan Cabasso! A self-described gamer, horror-movie fan, and concert-goer, Jourdan collects Pokémon cards and blind boxes in her spare time. She's diving into this year ready for the joy that only teaching can bring.

Valentina Monaco is ready to make Kindergarten a joyful, welcoming place for every learner! An avid reader with a love for sunflowers and sparkling orange Celsius, Valentina's mission this year is to foster a classroom where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

With 24 years of experience, Susan Lezcano wears many hats as a Dual Language Teacher, NEST Lead, and Team Leader! A sewing enthusiast who loves tropical colors and collecting travel pencils, Susan is ready to take her students to brand-new heights this year.

Heather Richardson is kicking off her second year at Spring Lake (and 16th year overall) with sparkle and Disney magic! A devoted mom who loves the beach, travel, and reading, Heather's Disney trivia knowledge is nearly unmatched. She's excited to help her new students discover just how amazing they truly are.

Sabita Bhatt has spent 15 years bringing color and warmth into First Grade — fittingly, her favorite color is the whole rainbow! A talented painter who loves hydrangeas and iced tea, Sabita is excited for one thing above all: meeting her students.

Victoria Matos brings nine years of experience and Disney magic to 2nd Grade — she collects anything and everything Disney-related! A dedicated reader who loves penguins, cats, and a good cup of coffee, Victoria is looking forward to getting to know her students and coworkers this year.

Kristen Buch brings five years of experience and beachy vibes to 2nd Grade — her favorite scents are basically bottled summer! A figure skater who loves arts, crafts, and collecting Starbucks "Been There" mugs from her travels, Kristen can't wait to get to know the students, staff, and school community this year.

Leandra Enamorado joins Spring Lake for her first year in SCPS, bringing a truly show-stopping hidden talent: professional-looking balloon garlands! A crocheter and traveler who loves cheering on her son's baseball games, Leandra is excited for a new environment, new relationships, and new reading strategies to explore.

Ava Bassani is diving into her very first year of teaching at Spring Lake with an unbeatable people skill — she can strike up a conversation with absolutely anyone! Whether she's boating, fishing, or playing with her dogs, Ava brings big energy everywhere she goes, and she can't wait to build relationships with her students and coworkers alike.

Danasia Bonner is bringing fun and dedication to Third Grade this year! A video game enthusiast who collects Pokémon cards and vintage Disney VHS tapes, Danasia is all about teamwork — she's excited to work alongside her colleagues to help every student succeed.

Val Feijo is stepping into her first year at Spring Lake with serious artistic talent — she can copy anime art styles like a pro! A lover of Oreos, Rainbow Loom, and Deku figurines, Val is beyond excited just to start teaching her all of her students.

Allison Waters is ready to welcome a brand-new group of 3rd graders with open arms! A runner and baker whose cake and cookie decorating skills are basically a hidden talent, Allison collects anything and everything cat-themed. She can't wait to dive into fun activities with her new students this year.

Jazmin Velasquez brings fresh creative energy to 3rd Grade, having just started exploring Cricut projects as a new hobby! A sunflower-and-daisy lover with a soft spot for caramel iced coffee, her hidden talent is writing backwards. Jazmin's goal this year is simple and inspiring: keep growing.

Lorelei Silva is stepping into her first year of teaching at Spring Lake, and she's bringing creativity with her! A reader, runner, and painter who collects Disney pins, Lorelei can even play a little piano. She can't wait to meet all the students and staff at Spring Lake!

Say hello to Elizabeth Pacheco, a 4th Grade ELA teacher who brings a love of storytelling into every lesson! Outside the classroom, she's an embroidery artist and avid reader — and she can reportedly throw a perfect spiral football. Elizabeth is thrilled for the fresh start of a new year in a new classroom, ready to meet all the new faces at Spring Lake.

Kimberly Stroy brings seven years of teaching experience and a creative eye to 4th Grade! A painter and reader who collects fun souveniors from her travels, Kimberly's goal this year is simple and inspiring — to keep growing.

Lindsay Massa brings five years of experience and serious speed to 4th Grade Math/Science — her hidden talent is speed stacking! A hot yoga devotee who loves a good Starbucks Strawberry Refresher, Lindsay is excited to keep the "A," see her Mana-team every day, and help her students grow.

Erica Abramson brings serious strength — literally! — to 5th Grade ELA, since powerlifting is one of her favorite hobbies alongside theme parks and reading. She collects spoons and Playbills, and her hidden talent is doing a full split. Erica's goal this year is simple: be successful and have fun doing it!

Laura Hernandez, a 16-year teaching veteran, brings a global perspective to 5th Grade Math/Science through her love of Chinese and Korean dramas! She also knows a fair amount of sign language. Laura's goal this year? Keep that "A" going strong!

Bradley Delfiacco is galloping into his first year teaching at Spring Lake — literally, since he rides horses in his free time! He also collects Pop Mart blind boxes and can clap with one hand (seriously). Bradley can't wait to build relationships with his new co-workers and students.

Aubrey Thompson, our School Psychologist, brings 20 years of experience and a passion for creativity to Spring Lake! Whether she's swimming, running, or capturing memories with her Cricut and camera, Aubrey is all about connection — and this year, she's focused on supporting both students and teachers every step of the way.
